Marlin is a somewhat overly serious cloud slime who takes his duty as a mailman a little too seriously, treating it as if life or death on most occasions, Marlin is so dedicated to his role if someone was to pay for same day delivery 2 minutes before midnight he would break the land speed record twice & deliver it in 1, this speed & this dedication has come directly from his mentor General Curran, while yes the general primarily focuses on training soldiers one day the postal service was under such strain they called in demanding the royal guard send a high ranking officer to scare off the bombardment of new recruits wanting to become postmen, General Curran arrived & within 15 minutes 1 trainee remained, this trainee was Marlin, since then Marlin has been offered numeral times to join the Royal guard with the highest ranking general claiming Marlin would make one of their strongest additions to their force in history, Marlin for some reason declines this offer in favour of the mail department, we may never know why he’s dedicated to such a role, however we do know that the post will never once be late on the Biofula isles thanks to him.
